The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has actively sought and consolidated a broad base of support and partnerships with the private sector and business community for almost 60 years. Over 30% of our annual global budget is provided by contributions from businesses, organizations and individuals.

Our conviction is that the well-being of the world’s children must not only be given increased priority, but also pursued as a common cause for all – by governments, multinational organizations, and civil society.

UNICEF’s alliances with the business sector take many forms with the primary aim of mobilizing resources to provide support directly or indirectly in the areas of advocacy, fundraising and other programmatic alliances.

UNICEF has been working in Nigeria for over 50 years to ensure a better quality of life for Nigerian children. UNICEF has programmes in Health, Sanitation, Child Protection and Education across the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT.

The Inspire Africa Foundation and Moments with Mo are working with Lagos State Government, UNICEF, Corporate Organizations & Individuals to protect and prevent Street Children in Nigeria from abuse, violence and all forms of exploitation. A Concert is being organized towards raising funds for the following intervention activities in Lagos State.

Funds raised from the Concert will go towards supporting Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Partners to provide services for street children and parents/caregivers by offering them the right information, life-skill training (for children) and income generating skills (for parents and care givers).
