	Donation Towards Preventing and Protecting Street Children in Lagos State
	At a brief event held at the Deputy Governor’s office, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, while handing over the cheque, Mo commented “We appreciate the help that we have received thus far from the developed world, UN agencies, donor agencies and philanthropists, the time has now come for Africa and Africans to play a more active role in harnessing our resources to help our own.”

	The UNICEF Chief of Lagos Office, Mr. Karim Akadiri thanked Mo for voluntarily walking to UNICEF, requesting to assist the less privilege. He commended her passion and zeal for children which was clearly demonstrated all through the planning and execution of the concert and requested for more not from Mo alone bur all that has been privileged until all our children can survive and development to their maximum capability and be protected from all vices around.

While thanking Inspire Africa Foundation for their efforts and assuring that the funds will be well utilized to save children from streets, he also commended Lagos State Government for their people-centered programmes meant to improve the lives of people living in Lagos state.
